MIRAMAR MAJOR INCIDENT PLAN OF ACTION

The Miramar EMS Plan of Action in the Event of a Major Incident is to:

  1. ARES Net Control will Contact Duty Phone to announce the Incident

  2. Duty Phone to Activate EMS Phone Tree to Send Responders to Hospitals

  3. Alternative – If Duty Phone unavailable, ARES NET Control Will Contact EMS Standby Responders to Activate EMS Phone Tree to Call Out Hospital Responders.

  4. ARES Net Control Will Contact EMS Standby Responders to Contact Hospital EMS Emergency Phone

  5. ARES Net Control Will Send Foot Patrols with Scribes to collect information from Incident Commander and MEDCOM to determine victim status and Hospital EMS Transport
